Established in 2001, the institute is also known as NIET. The campus size is spread over an area of 14 acres of land. Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. NIET offers courses in the fields of Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Management and Research. NIET offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D courses. Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University releases the cutoff for admission to B.Tech programme. Scores of JEE Main are offered for admission and NIET cutoff is released based on JEE Main. The cutoffs are released as opening and closing ranks. Candidates meeting the cutoff can apply for NIET. The cutoff is determined by the number of factors like availability of seats, the difficulty level of the exam, the number of students appearing for the exam and so on.
