Founded in 1994, Maharaja Agrasen College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Spread across a 10-acre land at Vasundhara Enclave in Eastern Delhi, the college remains to be a centre for excellence in higher education for the last 25 years. It has been awarded the 32nd rank in the NIRF India Rankings 2018 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
It maintains a state-of-the-art campus having advanced laboratories, art studios, a computer centre, library, seminar hall and sports arenas. The college offers undergraduate programmes in Science, Commerce and Arts. The different departments of the college include Hindi, English, Political Science, Economics, Commerce, Journalism, History, Mathematics, Electronics, History, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Physics.

Scholarship 1
All India Entrance Scholarship
This scholarship of Rs. 250/- per month, each tenable for three years for pursuing a course for an honors degree in this university. Students who have passed the senior school certificate examination (under 10+2 pattern of education) from the central board of secondary examination, New Delhi or an examination equivalent thereof and Students with at least 55% marks in aggregate are eligible for this scholarship.

Scholarship for female students
This scholarship is for all the female students of the college, the World Brotherhood Organisation has pronounced a scheme for grants of educational scholarship in support of "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao". Under this scheme about 500scholarshipshave been envisaged, each valued at the maximum of Rs. 20000 annually for the girl students of the college. The students who have secured minimum 85% marks in aggregate of main/ optional subjects in the last qualifying examination and whose annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2.40 lac are eligible to get the benefit of this scholarship.
